Labcorp Regional Business Development Executive (Large Accounts) in Westborough, Massachusetts

The Regional Business Development Executive will be responsible to close large physician office business in the New England market. Special focus on supporting new business to ensure successful onboarding. Close interaction with leadership of all internal, external, and laboratory operations along with local sales team to ensure client expectations are being served.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospective and generate business with large physician offices

  • Identify and close new business on a monthly basis in a competitive market

  • Develop and maintain a strong, accurate pipeline of active prospects

  • Daily interaction with sub-divisional sales and operational leadership

  • Collaborate and communicate with all members of the territory sales force

  • Maintain strong relationships and lead conduct regular business reviews with leadership

  • Meet and exceed monthly new sales goals on a regular basis

  • Assist with account management for client's day to day operations

  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service

  • Partner with sister companies and vendors to increase profitability

  • Continuously provide educational material to the client base

  • Resolve any customer related issues in a timely manner

  • Complete administrative tasks promptly and efficiently


  • Associates degree is required; Bachelor's degree is a plus

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience

  • Strong knowledge of the medical diagnostic laboratory industry

  • Experience with closing large physician offices on a monthly basis

  • Proven success managing a book of business in previous sales positions

  • Outstanding presentation skills as a dynamic and engaging speaker

  • Excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills

  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast paced environment

  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point & Excel

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to travel overnight as needed




Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
