Labcorp Customer Service Team Lead - 1st Shift in Tampa, Florida

LabCorp is seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to join our team in Winter Park, FL. In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives" as we combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Acts as a work leader in the Customer Services Department to coordinate workflow of 4 or more Customer Service Representatives.

  • Researches, troubleshoots, follows-up, and resolves account inquiries and problems.

  • Provides guidance and expertise to work group in resolving customer problems.

  • Trains new employees.

  • Assigns and reviews work of assigned employees including scheduling and prioritizing.

  • Working under minimal supervision, reports to Supervisor Customer Service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus

  • 3-5 years of previous relevant experience

  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

  • High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
