Monogram is seeking a Lab Technician to join its team in the Support Operations Department of our Diagnostic Immunology/Companion Diagnostics CLIA licensed laboratory, where you will support manufacturing activities related to validated assays used in screening patients for gene therapies applied to rare diseases, quantitative immunoassays, and cellular uptake assays which measure neutralizing antibody activity. The Technician will perform the preparation of reagents, maintain lab inventory, receive incoming supplies, grow cell cultures, and document all tasks on associated QA controlled paperwork. Additionally, the Technician will collaborate with Monogram's R&D group to assist in the assembly of items required to evaluate new assays run on cell-based systems and ultrasensitive immunology platforms.

The schedule for this position will be: Sunday -- Thursday, 7am-3:30pm.


Perform routine manufacturing duties within the Diagnostic Immunology/Companion Diagnostics lab area according to Standard Operating Procedures:

  • Receipt and storage of incoming supplies

  • Track lab inventory/inventory control

  • Recording of equipment daily readings, function checks and preventative maintenance

  • Maintain and supply cell cultures

  • Completion of manufacturing tasks on QA controlled paperwork

  • Practice aseptic/sterile techniques

  • Comply with all safety/infection control policies and procedures

  • May participate in the creation of SOPs


  • AS degree required

  • BS/BA degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory sciences preferred

  • Laboratory experience performing assays utilizing cell cultures a plus

  • Understanding and familiarity with aseptic technique and good specimen handling

  • Strong computer skills: familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial

  • Familiarity with SOPs, QA and QC standards

  • Must have good organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in collaborative, flexible work environment

  • Ability to work flexible hours and some weekend coverage as need arises
