Responsible for assigned staining and processing procedures within the scope of the IHC laboratory. Organizes, set-up cases for testing to include clerical duties of logging in of all tests processed. Set up assays as assigned to the daily caseload. Sets up QC assays such as titer checks on new lots of reagents to be added to daily caseload. Prepare probes, buffers and reagents utilizing established protocols. Participate in troubleshooting, workflow assessments, and quality improvement projects..

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/1-3 years experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
