Diagnose gynecological and non-gynecological specimens for cellular abnormalities via microscope. This process requires correlation of existing lab history or clinical information with microscopic findings. Communicate specimen findings via report format or microscopic description. Abnormal GYN diagnoses must be substantiated by appropriate dotting of the pathology. Consult about cases with fellow Cytotechnologists, Supervisor, and Pathologists as appropriate.


License/Certification/Education: CT (ASCP Registered)-Normally a B.A./B.S. in Biological Science and meet all licensing requirements w/1-3 years of experience.
