We have a rare opportunity to join an established and tight functioning team in the Sequenom IT department as a full stack developer. Our philosophy is that we leverage multiple technologies like Force.com, Angular, Springboot and RabbitMQ for delivering business applications that add value for our external and internal customers, integrating with our Datamart and event driven architecture. Our ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with strong frontend and java backend development skills, along with software engineering disciplines.
Design and develop new functionalities & enhancements for existing applications built on the Force.com platform and Angular Framework.
Create new business solutions leveraging Force.com and Angular framework.
Participate in all aspects of development including: architecture design, system analysis, programming, troubleshooting and support.
Apply Salesforce and web frontend development and SDLC best practices and conventions.
Keep up with industry trends to apply best practices for all application customization and development.
Actively participate in peer code reviews and write unit tests to ensure quality code.
Work collaboratively with other developers, testers, analysts and application administrators.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional application development experience with object oriented programming languages (Java, C#, Apex).
Professional experience writing micro services and/or REST web services.
Experience with build tools, Continuous Integration, Git, and SDLC best practices.
Experience with Agile software development in a Scrum framework.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience developing with Angular 2+ or React.
Experience building Java applications with Spring Framework.
Hands-on SQL database experience including database design and query development.
Experience with event driven architectures using message brokers.
Strong development knowledge and experience with Visualforce, Apex Classes and Triggers, Lightning, Salesforce Communities, Salesforce Data Model, and Salesforce API.
Salesforce Certification (developer and administrator).
