The West Division of LabCorp provides the core clinical and anatomic laboratory testing services, 365 days a year. The primary clinical testing areas include Chemistry, Toxicology, Hematology, Flow Cytometry, Immunohematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Molecular microbiology. Active Histology, and Cytology departments are also on site.

The Cytotechnologist:

Screens and evaluates any gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimen sent to the laboratory for the determination of possible malignant or related abnormal conditions.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education:

Recently licensed cytotechnologists are welcome to apply.

  • CA CT (ASCP Registered)

  • SurePath Certification

  • Thin Prep (Image Guided) Certified

  • ASCP Proficiency Test

  • Normally a B.A./B.S. in Biological Science and meet all licensing requirements w/1-3 years of experience.

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, additional hours and days may be required based on business needs
