Labcorp Area Director of Business Development (Value-Based Care) in Moseley Heights, Virginia

Recognized as one of Forbe's 2020 World's Best Employers and named to Fast Company magazine's list of 2021 Most Innovative Companies, Labcorp is seeking to hire an Area Director of Business Development to help identify and shape opportunities for our continued growth across our Value-Based Care Organization.

Our ADBD oversees the Value-Based Care Business Development Executives across the Division and drives overall Value-Based Care strategy across the division. Responsible for establishing profitable policies, programs, and objectives for the organization's niche business marketing and sales activities. Coordinates efforts of marketing and sales employees and directs staff towards the accomplishment of set objectives. Analyzes and improves organization competitiveness within the VBC market.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the contribution of new sales growth, with collaboration amongst regional sales team in presentation, and development, and implementation.

  • Responsible for understanding Value-Based Care impact and Data Analytics for client development and partnership growth.

  • Managing, mentoring, and supporting divisional Value-Based Care team

  • Interaction with divisional sales and operational leadership

  • Collaborate and communicate with all members of the divisional salesforce

  • Maintain and develop C suite level relationships in VBC organizations

  • Meet and exceed monthly new sales growth goals

  • Collaboration with all sales teams across company enterprise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field preferred

  • Minimum 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience required

  • Experience in and strong knowledge of the lab/diagnostics industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to travel overnight as needed

  • Experience making independent decisions and managing large projects that directly impact our business and the business of our clients

Preferred Requirements:

  • Sales management

  • Master's in Business or Healthcare and/or healthcare management preferred

  • Experience in Value-Base Care Contracting

  • C-level suite sales experience
