Laboratory Corporation of America Senior Project Analyst in Morrisville, North Carolina
The OTS Division is looking for a Senior Project Analyst who is a highly motivated individual with a combination of business systems and process optimization skills to assume a role within the Division. Ideal candidates will leverage their extensive systems, project management and process knowledge to be able to facilitate Divisional and finance projects across multiple groups. The successful candidate will find him/herself surrounded by professionals with diverse backgrounds, operating in a fast-paced, intellectual, and team-oriented environment.
This position reports to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Plans activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversees day-to-day work and monitoring of progress towards goals.
Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of projects to management within and beyond the project team.
Develops financial models to support ongoing projects.
Support the division by reporting on utilization, price analysis and price adjustment.
Recommend key initiatives to improve key processes and procedures within the department.
Perform ad hoc and special projects as assigned.
Driving a diverse set of special projects to completion, identifying and engaging staff from impacted departments to create and implement solutions.
License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. Degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant experience to include accounting, reporting and project management work.
Business operations and financial reporting knowledge strongly preferred.
Ability to gather cross functional reporting needs.
Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills; effective team building skills.
Hard-working, detail oriented and committed to producing great end results.
Strong computer skills necessary. Excel / Word / PowerPoint skills required, including pivot tables.
Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize incoming requests.
Work independently to achieve desired results.
