Laboratory Corporation of America Customer Service Team Leader in Morrisville, North Carolina

The Occupational Testing Services division is seeking a Team Lead in the Strategic Initiatives department.

The primary purpose for this position will be to assist with day-to-day operations of the global services scheduling and wellness departments.

  • Responsibilities include organizing daily workload of employees; assisting with training & development; scheduling departmental coverage; troubleshooting & resolving issues (for colleagues and clients); working with client base in managing day-to-day tasks; providing feedback to the department supervisor

  • Responsible for reviewing and assigning work

  • Performs administrative duties as needed for successful operation of the departments

  • Assists with reports and other tasks as needed


License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associates Degree in related field w/2-5 years of job-related experience.

Skill Requirements:

  • Must have customer service experience, preferably in the medical/healthcare industry

  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred.
