Laboratory Corporation of America Sales Account Specialist in Miami, Florida

Esoterix Coagulation, also known as Colorado Coagulation, a division of LabCorp, is a complex testing laboratory that specializes in assays used in the evaluation of bleeding and clotting disorders. The laboratory is internationally renowned for its high quality and consultative approach to testing. A number of methodologies are utilized including clot-based, chromogenic, and ELISA assays.

The territory for this sales position is ten southern US states, with a focus on FL, TX and GA.

This sales representative will be responsible for coagulation revenue growth and client retention, providing ongoing service including problem resolution, custom profile, and billing solutions, while calling on multiple specialties including hematologists/oncologists, hospitals, and women's health care.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals in assigned territory

o Successfully build and execute a useful business plan

o Proactively integrate successfully within team selling environment by partnering with sales colleagues and internal support teams within LabCorp, identifying and implementing collaborative opportunities

o Effectively perform in-services, training, and implementation with medical providers, staff, and internal support teams on clinical, technological, and differentiation of products and services

o Develop and effectively execute a territory travel plan to maximize territory productivity

o Share best practices with sales and management team

Requirements

License/Certification/Education:* Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record * Candidate must have demonstrated track record of success in prior roles * Consultative sales skills * Problem solving skills * Ability to work independently and to collaborate * Organizational skills to manage multi-state territory * Candidate must have the ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature * B.A./B.S. Degree preferred (preferably life sciences) * Three to five years of life science sales experience preferred * Diagnostic laboratory technical or client services experience desired
