LabCorp is seeking a Revenue and Billing Specialist for it's McLeansville, NC location.

This position will be responsible for

  • Researches and responds to all inquiries received in the PI,Blues, MC, MD and Aetna)/Denial Ops mailboxes.

  • Trouble-shoots and resolves billing issues by system research, contacts other areas, calling insurace companies and clients as well as any adjustments or corrections.

  • Collaborates with the analyst team and pulls reports (SAS) to capture and rescue other affected specimens, identifying trends and analyzing issues to propose and implement process changes.

  • Filters responses to upper management. In some cases compliance is included so knowledge of compliance related issues is necessary.

  • Updates Knowledge notebook (database used for housing information) - each email received is logged and follows through until complete.

  • Logs number of emails showing whether in process or dates completed.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree or 2-3 years of experience in field.

Required

  • MS Access and Excel, intermediate, strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge and understanding of PI, Blues, MC, MD and Aetna.

  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills, both written and oral.
