The Corporate Counsel serves as a legal adviser to the Drug Development business segment. He/She advises function leadership and managers regarding contract negotiations, dispute resolution, policy and compliance matters within the business segment, novel business issues and contributes to the development and implementation of contracting policies and risk management strategies. The Corporate Counsel advises contract managers and function leadership regarding customer contracts, vendor contracts, site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts as assigned under the supervision of Legal department leadership. The Corporate Counsel actively develops, supports and contributes to the continuous improvement of Legal processes and procedures including contractual templates, risk mitigation strategies, and function-specific legal research. The Corporate Counsel also supports corporate initiatives including corporate administration, transactions, dispute resolution, and other legal department initiatives as required.
License/Certification/Education: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
