Laboratory Corporation of America Patient Enrollment Analyst in Dublin, Ohio
What You'll Accomplish:
In collaboration with the Covance Feasibility, Recruitment & Engagement (FRE) team, supports data mining efforts to increase visibility and identification of in-system eligible patients for clinical trials' specific to Covance-managed clinical trials at Hospitals / Health System (HHS) Site Partners.
In collaboration with the Physician Referral Network (PRN) team, supports data mining efforts to identify patients for Covance managed clinical trials from outside of the system but within an agreed geographic area. Provides on-location representation, communication & client support to physicians in order to increase patient referrals to specific clinical research opportunities at the designated HHS partner site.
Supports Site Partnerships team at Covance through enhanced awareness of HHS Site Partner capabilities, data assets, diagnostic datasets, patient population, clinical research experience and ongoing study performance analysis. Maintains documentation and reports that may be used by Site Partnerships team to advocate for the HHS Site Partner in all appropriate clinical trial opportunities.
Enhances customer service and improves the partnership experience, driving deeper collaboration and value for the hospital / health system clients.
Enhanced data utilization drives higher patient enrollment and partnership site selection contributes towards optimal clinical trial performance and drives higher proposal win-rates in drug development.
Enhanced customer support and collaboration services that drive clinical trial enrollment, operational efficiency and additional patients into the Health System.
What You'll bring to the Position:
BS Degree in relevant field
5 years of work experience in analytical reporting and information delivery supporting key business initiatives
Experience working in either Diagnostics (i.e., LabCorp Employees, preferred) or CRO (Covance Employees, preferred).
Analytical skills with the ability to collect and organize data.
Ability to disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of predictive models that proactively inform action planning, a plus
Ability to review quantitative and qualitative healthcare data to reach sound conclusions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
Experience analyzing large datasets using complex SQL queries and analytics tools, a plus
Ability to work independently and delivery quality results in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to healthcare related data
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and levels
Ability to effectively communicate outputs of data analysis and provide insights to a broad audience (i.e., senior leaders, hospital and health system representatives)
Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) Remote work, however, there is an expectation of future travel up to 25% based on business need. Locations: Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Western Pennsylvania.
