Laboratory Corporation of America Area Operations Manager - Corpus Christi, TX in Corpus Christi, Texas

Oversees pick-up and delivery services for LabCorp of test samples, supplies and reports for the South Texas area. Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the branch offices including accessioning, phlebotomy, logistics, warehouse as well as customer service. Responsible for the South TX region with 7 Branch Managers reporting directly to the Area Operations Manager. This region is staffed with 150+ employees.


License/Certification/Education: B.A./B.S. Degree w/3 -5 years of supervisor/management experience preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Proficient with Time Management

  • Must have strong communication skills both written and oral

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Must have a clean driving record with no more than 3 minor violations and no major violations within the last 3 years

  • Knowledge and/or experience in Phlebotomy, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science is preferred




Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional weekends as needed
