We are seeking a Histology Administrative Specialist for our Anatomic Pathology lab in Cincinnati, OH. This position will be working directly with physicians and clients, as well as compiling data and reports.

Job Duties include:

  • Assisting physicians and clients on specimen/result questions and concerns

  • Compiling laboratory data including accessions, sample types, volume etc.

  • Generating reports based on data collected

  • Presenting data to National Office of Quality at monthly meetings

  • Working with multiple computer systems on a regular basis

Prior experience in a healthcare/medical practice office strongly preferred, with the knowledge of medical terminology used in a clinical laboratory setting required. Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and effective time management skills are also strongly preferred.

Requirements

Required a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred; 5-7 years of experience
