We are seeking a Technologist to cover multiple locations in the Itasca, IL region.
This position will cover multiple STAT labs and perform basic testing, as well as training phlebotomists on how to do POC testing.
Job duties include:
Performing basic testing in various STAT labs in region
Floating to provide coverage where needed
Performing some POC testing
Training phlebotomists to perform POC testing
Some phlebotomy may be required
Candidate must be able to travel to various locations, and be flexible with work schedule as hours can vary by site being covered. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technologist is required.
* Applicants who qualify as a Medical Lab Technician (certification required) will also receive consideration for this position.
License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/1-3 years experience in a Clinical Laboratory.
Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm; Occasional Saturday hours
