  • Utilize immunoassay and mass spectrometry technologies.

  • Provide methods development support.

  • Assay validations.

  • Transitioning and technical training of novel diagnostic assays using immunoassay and mass spectrometric technologies.

  • Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/4+ years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory. Must meet CLIA requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • B.S. Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

  • Prior experience in immunoassay development is strongly desired

  • Two (2) years experience using Liquid Chromatography (LC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) in a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)/Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) environment is a plus
