Utilize immunoassay and mass spectrometry technologies.
Provide methods development support.
Transitioning and technical training of novel diagnostic assays using immunoassay and mass spectrometric technologies.
Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
License/Certification/Education: This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree or equivalent and city/state licenses or permits to qualify as a Technologist w/4+ years of experience in a Clinical Laboratory. Must meet CLIA requirements.
B.S. Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
Prior experience in immunoassay development is strongly desired
Two (2) years experience using Liquid Chromatography (LC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) in a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)/Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) environment is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Works well both independently as a well as team environment
Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
