Are you an experienced Medical Lab Professional or have experience in quality management? LabCorp is looking for a Quality Coordinator for our Routine Microbiology lab in Burlington, NC.
This person will be responsible for:
Supporting projects and activities related to quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement, and quality training.
Provides leadership and education in the areas of quality control, assurance, and training as well as standardization compliance with the lab.
Work closely with the National Office of Quality, the lab QA team, and leadership for preparation and submission of complete packages for clinical diagnostic tests for review and approval
Laboratory liaison for developing, executing, and overseeing various QA functions in the laboratory including but not limited to preventive maintenance, calibrations, general equipment logs.
Prepare and support the laboratory for regulatory inspections
Manage clinical trials related QA functions including client communications and documentation
Perform and document root cause analysis for lost specimens and client concerns
Communicate across various departments about QA functions including the National Office of Quality
1-2 years of expereince in QA clinical diagnostics or regulated laboratory environment preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Medical laboratory background in microbiology.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite including Excel and Access.
Possess analytical problem solving skills with an ability to prioritize multiple projects in a complex multi-layered environment.
Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:00p; rotating weekends
