Laboratory Corporation of America Project Specialist in Burlington, North Carolina
LabCorp is recruiting a dynamic Project Specialist to provide support to our senior management team in NC. The ideal candidate is pro-active, has a knack for problem-solving, a "can-do" attitude and extremely detailed. Experience supporting more than one senior executive is ideal, but not required. Customer service mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, polished professional demeanor, and the ability to keep calm under pressure are musts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist C-level management team in identifying priorities, strategically align their time with those priorities, and revisit them regularly to assess progress.
Manage multiple requests and priorities -- staying calm under pressure, exercising judgment, and seeing beyond the day-to-day to anticipate changing needs.
Extensive travel and meeting coordination; calendar management.
Monthly expenses reconciliation and processing.
Regular meeting prep and coordination including document prep and organization as directed, occasional meeting coverage and note taking.
Special project coordination requiring follow-up and meeting of deadlines.
Additional duties as assigned.
Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including senior management.
Possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Proactive in determining roadblocks, and finding solutions to overcome them.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under high pressure and speed.
Must have the ability to build collaborative relationships.
Ability to keep information highly confidential.
Flexible and able to multi-task.
- License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate's Degree w/3-5 years' experience.
- 3-5 years of administrative experience supporting a senior executive (VP or above)
Monday through Friday, 8-5
