LabCorp is seeking a Lead Project Analyst/Engineer -- IT Audit and Governance for it's Burlington, NC location. This position will be a member of LabCorp's Corporate IT Audit team. This individual should:

  • have an understanding of IT infrastructure and processes

  • have project management or auditing experience

  • understand the principles of internal controls

  • have the ability to evaluate IT controls and IT processes including: infrastructure, network, applications and databases

  • have an aptitude to business processes and controls, and have a clear understanding of how IT supports and impacts business functions

  • be a team player, and be willing and capable of learning new concepts in a fast paced change driven environment

  • be a self-starter, and have the ability to work independently

Job Duties:

  • Help develop team members as needed

  • Perform periodic internal assessments of areas within IT

  • Assist with the management and/or facilitation of internal and external audits of LabCorp's Corporate IT area to include: providing evidence, responding to audit findings and managing remediation item(s) as needed (SOX, PCI, SOC 2, etc.)

  • Assist with updates to LabCorp Corporate IT Policies and Procedures

  • Perform IT Vendor Risk Assessments

  • Manage cloud vendor security documents (SOC documents)

  • Document IT Incidents and Waivers

Requirements

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel is required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience auditing in a healthcare environment

  • Currently certified as either CFE/CISA/CRISC or eligible

Skills Preferred

  • Knowledge of laboratory regulatory environment

  • Knowledge of LabCorp legacy systems (LCLS, LCBS)

This position normally requires a BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
