Labcorp International Key Account Executive (Labcorp Genetics and Women's Health) in Burlington, North Carolina

Recognized as one of Forbes's 2020 World's Best Employers and named to Fast Company magazine's list of 2021 Most Innovative Companies, Laboratory Corporation of America (Labcorp) is seeking to hire an International Key Account Executive (KAE) to help identify and shape opportunities for our continued growth across our Genetics and Women's Health Segment Internationally

This is a unique opportunity to join the Genetics and Women's Health sales team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear, confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings.

This position reports to the International Sales Director and will be responsible for supporting the current International clients and new opportunities through our International on-boarding process. Effectively communicating and selling the benefits of the Labcorp Genetics and Women's Health commercial products.

The KAE provides direct sales support and services for existing international clients, primarily to Distributors, Hospitals, Laboratories and OBGYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), and Reproductive Endocrinology Clinics (IVF).

We are seeking an individual with competitive and collaborative communication and selling skills, with a high degree of organizational skills, business acumen, and enjoys working and growing with a seasoned, high performing team in a fast-growing competitive environment.

This position will be remotely based and cover all international regions outside the U.S.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

  • Sell laboratory testing services to professionals within the Genetics and Women's Healthcare space, including distributors, OB/GYNs, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinologists (RE), Geneticists, Regional Reference Labs and Hospitals

  • Assist in meeting and exceeding sales goals in alignment with Regional Director to achieve maximum sales growth for our international business

  • Assist in building and executing an annual business plan with quarterly updates in partnership with the Regional Director

  • Support international sales team with annual sales plans, client forecast and reports, client's executive business reviews, sales reports, etc.

  • Manage the international sales opportunities through sales cycle and process

  • Attend all required training to remain updated on clinical and product updates

  • Support with the implementation and execution of our International client onboarding process and policies

  • As needed, attend local and national professional trade shows and events

  • Provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base

  • Collaborate, communicate, and actively contribute to new business opportunities with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterparts

  • Update clients of product updates, new clinical data, new marketing communications

  • Effectively communicate value propositions to all targeted customers and prospects

  • Inform clients of international conferences and industry trade shows that Labcorp will participate in

  • Provide support to resolve service and logistics issues

  • Manage client requests for marketing brochures and materials

  • Manage client questions -- TAT (Turnaround Time), sample received by lab, completing forms, ordering supplies

  • Confirm all international clients' websites include Labcorp information and updated branding

  • Update all internal departments and confirm set up in internal systems of new international accounts, pricing and terms

  • Manage CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) data by tracking updates from Global Compliance, EBU Contracting, Legal, Pricing, Sales, and Client

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Science background highly desired

  • Familiarity with global markets preferred

  • Women's healthcare experience and relationships with hospital systems, OB/GYNs, MFMs, KOLs highly preferred

  • Previous laboratory or diagnostics sales experience highly preferred

  • Fluent or proficient in a foreign language; Spanish or French is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated track record of recent success and sales accomplishments

  • Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and use extensive and complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales process

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Due to the COVID health crisis, this position will work primarily remotely with some occasional in-person meetings. Once COVID restrictions are lifted, the position may require in person sales meetings, and will require limited travel.
